Cancer rates in the US have been declining since the 2000's. One main cause for the drop in cancer rates is the decrease in tobacco use. Still 1.5 million people are diagnosed with cancer every year. The American Cancer Society predicts that one out of every two men and one out of every three women will get cancer at some point in their life. There are a few easy steps you can take everyday that can help to reduce your risk (and no I am not talking about a colon cleanse or magical fruit).
